Verified Length of Runs now also in France and Italy

The seal of approval for 'verified length of runs' will be present in two more countries (number six and seven) from the 2018/19 season on. Espace San Bernardo, the international ski area between La Rosière in the French Savoy region and La Thuile in the Italian Aosta valley will use it from the start of the 2018/19 season. In January 2018 Christoph Schrahe visited the ski area and took measurements in order to determine the length of runs at the resort. Including the new runs that will be build in summer 2018 on Mont Valaisan, Espace San Bernardo will have a total of 152 km of runs. This is still less than the 160 km of runs that have been communicated so far. That means that Espace San Bernardo is the first ski area that has reduced its official figure as a result of the certification. A courageous step for which those responsible deserve credit.
